A two-day event is being held this month to raise money for three triangle charities.
The 2014 Triangle Golf Challenge is open to amateur golfers regardless of skill and is preceded by a reception the night before the tournament. Held at the Hayti Heritage Center, the reception starts at 5:00 pm this Thursday, with the concert beginning at 8:00 pm.
The reception includes a silent and live auction and is followed by a jazz concert featuring trumpeter Tom Browne and a handful of select local jazz musicians. It is open to the public and free for players and sponsors; the cost is $50 per person for all others.
The two-person team, Captain’s Choice format will be used for the tournament with Two Flights, a Seniors’ competition (for those aged 60 and up) and an Open. Proceeds from the tournament, along with those of the reception preceding it, will be donated to The Banks Foundation, the Hayti Heritage Center, and Communities In Schools of Durham.
It is essential that advertising for tournaments such as this is extensive and starts early. Poster printing services can provide Banners and Flyers that will both inform and entice those who view them.
The cost for the 2014 Triangle Golf Challenge is $150 per player and takes place on Friday, June 13, with a shot-gun start at 8:30 am.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Banners
