A Rochester team will be hosting multiple viewings of a fun and educational display for two days next month.
Physics Force is a group that runs a program for schoolchildren, teaching them all about science using exciting and large visuals. Started in 1984, the group has continually expanded and traveled in order to further spread its passion for physics. Members include high school teachers and college professors. The University of Minnesota is the home base for the Physics Force team.
Shows scheduled for the morning, as well as the afternoon, are solely open to groups attending from schools. Teachers can make multiple reservations if attending with a group larger than 100 people. The number of spots reserved needs to include chaperones in addition to the students and teachers. Attendance is free, and the registration process can be completed using the Eventbrite listing.
One show, scheduled for the evening of the second day, is open for anyone interested in attending. Registration works the same way for this viewing as the others. Flyer printing is a common tool for educational programs to use in advertising.
The event will be held at the Mayo Civic Center on May 11th and May 12th. The times for day one are 10:00am and 12:30pm, while day two has the same two earlier times along with the public show beginning at 7:00pm. Each display will run between an hour and 75 minutes in length.
