Rochester event celebrates cats on camera

An event in a few weeks is bringing a collection of entertaining media to a Rochester audience.

The Cat Video Fest is an experience that celebrates one of the most popular video content themes. A part of the proceeds from the event will be donated to local animal charities and shelters, making the show directly beneficial to cats in the area. The festival is held in a number of locations nationally, with Rochester being one of them. All support charities in their respective areas.

The videos shown include a mix of music video clips, viral internet videos, animation, new content, and direct submissions. The content compilation aims to bring viewers a few laughs and moments of joy, with cats doing silly, adorable, and impressive things. The fun and beneficial event is put together by Oscilloscope Laboratories.

There are two showings on each of the three dates. Tickets, which are sold on the venue’s website, are $10.81 including tax for general admission. Individuals who are members of the venue’s film club can attend the event for free.

The location for this show is Rochester’s Pop’s Art Theater. Flyer printing is a popular promotion technique for film related events. On August 2nd, the showtimes are 2:30 pm and 4:15 pm. On August 3rd, they are 12:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Finally, on August 4th, they are 5:30 pm and 7:15 pm.
