The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon will be returning to Minneapolis in early October.
Community partners for the race will be Girls on the Run Minnesota and Minnesota Distance Elite.
Registration for the marathon will be $210 until September 30th and $220 thereafter. The $95 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon VIP weekend pass will have indoor heated pre-race staging area, coffee and breakfast snacks, private gear drop-off and VIP toilets at the starting line. These VIP passes will also have free beer, catered food, gear pickup and commemorative gifts at the finish line.
Runners may opt to run for one of over 50 charity teams by contacting the charity before the race.
A corporate team challenge will have company employee teams competing against each other, with prizes going to the fastest and largest teams. Teams created like this often run in matching T-Shirts sporting the company's Logo Design.
On-course support will include medical staff and fluid stations handing out water, gels, pickle juice at mile 13 and Nuun Endurance Lemon-Lime.
Race packets will be available from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday, October 4th and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday, October 5th at the Health and Fitness Expo located at the Saint Paul RiverCentre, 175 West Kellogg Boulevard, St. Paul. No packets will be available on race day.
Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon will take place Sunday, October 6th beginning at 9:00 am in downtown Minneapolis and ending at St. Paul's Capitol Grounds.
