Downtown Minneapolis hosts major event

The Taste of Minnesota 2026 will be celebrating Minnesota for two days in early July.

More than 20 food vendors will be along Washington Avenue. Attendees will be treated to shrimp, tacos, poutine (French fries topped with cheese curds and brown gravy), hushpuppies, pork sliders and pronto pups. Food vendors located between 3rd street and Washington Avenue will be selling pork and brisket sliders, falafel with hummus, meat lovers pizza and pulled pork fries.

Artist Avenue, located along Marquette Avenue, will have more than 20 vendors selling everything from skincare products, candles, and henna art to jewelry, licorice and dog treats.

Vendors at large events like this often have custom Business Cards made with the event theme, images and colors on them.

The Main Stage lineup for Friday will include Killinger Four and Polica. Saturday performances will include Gully Boys, NUR-D, Dessa, Ant, ending with Brother Ali. DJ Sophia Eris will be the emcee for both nights.

School of Rock will get the Saturday entertainment started at 12:30 pm followed by New Primitives, Pullstring, Maygen and the Birdwatcher and Solana, and the Sunsets.

This year's Taste of Minnesota will take place Friday, July 3rd from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Sunday, July 4th from noon to 10:00 pm at Nicollet Mall and along Washington Avenue in Downtown Minneapolis.
