Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce will host a summit for local businesses this November.
The theme for this event is 'Diversity and Talent'. It is aimed at businesses looking to master diversity and inclusion in their organization. This year's speakers will examine why inclusion, equity and diversity will be beneficial in navigating today's market.
It will also explore how embedding these in sectors such as healthcare and education can lead to more functional systems.
Attendees are invited to hear from community leaders such as Derrick Kayongo, Scott Ayotte, Dr. Anthony Chiang, Frances Hogsten, and Dr. Sandra Upton. Dr. Upton founded Upton Consulting Group, which has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies such as Goldman Sachs, Facebook and Google. Meanwhile, Dr. Chiang is founder of BAMF Health and a leading educator and scientist. Another guest is poet laureate and author Marcel Prince.
Tickets for the event are $125 per person for members of the Chamber, while the cost for non-members is $150. Registration for the event can be completed online on the Chamber's website.
Brochure printing is one way for organizers of such events to provide information to attendees about what they have to offer.
The summit will be held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel on November 16. The hotel is located at 187 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49503. It begins at 7:30am and ends at 12:00 pm.
