Next month, Barely Reality in Grand Rapids will host the Pokémon Party Night for Pokémon fans to enjoy a night of trading card games, winning fun giveaways, and vibing with friends.
Barely Reality is a virtual reality arcade that is also a retro games and toy store located in Grand Rapids. The shop offers custom made arcade machines, buy-and-sell Pokémon cards services, and virtual reality parties. The store also frequently holds special events related to games or trading cards, such as the Pokémon Party Night happening in March.
The party will feature a special Trade Night event where serious collectors can trade valuable cards with other attendees. Guests can challenge each other in games taking place, and there will also be a Year Giveaway event where attendees will have a chance to win free card packs for a year. There will be both basic and VIP tickets for purchase. Each option will include access to event-only discounts, pizza, booster packs, and entries into the giveaway.
Events offering giveaways will sometimes reach out to relevant local businesses to sponsor the event and donate Promotional Products in exchange for visibility during advertising and during the event itself.
