The hint of winter tidings will come to Grand Rapids this November as the community prepares to hold the 8th Annual Northern Pines Craft and Vendor Market.
The craft and vendor market will be held at East Rapids Elementary School, which will open its doors to various local vendors and artisans in the area to showcase their wares for the community. The market is considered a tradition in Grand Rapids, one that occurs the first Saturday of deer season each year as a symbolic way of celebrating the changing of the seasons.
The vendors present will have on display handcrafted goods such as jewelry, woven crafts, Apparel, home decor, pottery, and paintings. There will be plenty of opportunities to find unique items and seasonal items such as Christmas ornaments, outdoor decor, and indoor decorations. The market serves as an opportunity for the community to come together and support small businesses and local makers.
Vendors participating in special markets like this will often prepare for such events by refreshing their supply of Business Cards or Flyers to give out to attendees of the event.
The Northern Pines Craft and Vendor Market will be held on November 8 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. East Rapids Elementary is located at 1195 NE 10th Street, Grand Rapids. There is no cost for admission to the market.
