The Burggraf's Ace Hardware Caring Fore Kids Charity Classic annual fundraising event will return to Grand Rapids in mid-June.
Launched in 2024, the fundraising effort has already brought in more than $1 million, helping support a range of projects, programs, and purchasing and upgrading equipment for pediatric patients at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. The funding has played a crucial role in expanding and improving care for young patients throughout the past decade.
The event this year will take place at the famous Pokegama Golf Course and will include a nine-hole fun golf game for the benefit of patients at the Grand Itasca. Golfers of all backgrounds and skill levels are expected and welcomed at the event. Moreover, on-course snacks will be available for the participants along with contests.
Other than golf, the show will also have live music, food, and many other entertainments throughout the course of the day.

Registrations opened on March 1, 2026. The fundraiser is set for June 18 at Pokegama Golf Course in Grand Rapids, with the nine hole scramble starting at 2 pm. The reception, meal service, entertainment, and social hour begin at 5 pm, followed by the evening program at 6.
