The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce will present February’s luncheon called From Idea to Impact: How the SBDC Helps Small Businesses Thrive, for any small business owners interested in learning how to grow their business.
The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce acts as the collective voice for the various businesses and community organizations throughout Northern Minnesota. The chamber supports economic diversity and development, promotes better quality of life for its residents, and encourages proactive government relations. Members enjoy access to networking, resources, and training opportunities, such as the professional luncheon happening in February.
The From Idea to Impact luncheon will be led by Northern Minnesota’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The SBDC will explain the ins-and-outs of their no-cost training and consulting, which is intended to help small business owners effectively start, manage, and grow their businesses. The event is designed for both entrepreneurs just starting out and more established businesses. There will be a lunch buffet before the luncheon presentation commences.
Professional luncheons are especially integral to networking, as attendees often find potential peers, clients, or partners to socialize with. As such, attendees may find themselves needing to update their supply of Business Cards to hand out.
The SBDC luncheon is scheduled for February 9 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. It will take place at One NW Third Street, Grand Rapids.
