Conference on farming to be held in the Grand Rapids area

The White Earth Land Recovery Project (WELRP) will host an event titled the ”21st Annual Great Lakes Indigenous Farming Conference” in the Grand Rapids area this March.

The event is characterized by its focus on presentations emphasizing the need to build relationships and connections. The emphasis of the farming conference stays on developing cultural neighborhood connections. It is also understood as a shared duty to assure that the event functions as a place where cultural interactions flourish and different voices can be heard.

Together, the community works to create a more connected neighborhood that prospers on the collaborative experiences and wisdom of its associates.

The conference will also feature respected presenters from various backgrounds, with all individuals devoted to advancing the Indigenous Farming community.

The cost to attend will vary based on age groups and the number of days each individual will be attending. Children 8 years old and younger will be able to attend for free. Attendees can find ticket price information by visiting the WELRP listing.

Flyer printing can be a great way to advertise conferences like this one.

The event is scheduled to take place from Thursday, March 7 through to Sunday, March 10. The location of the event will be Sugar Lake Lodge, 37723 North Sugar Lake Road, Cohasset, Minnesota.
