The Castle Museum in Saginaw is hosting a free Christmas event this December.
During Frosty Fest, cookies and hot cocoa will be served. Attendees can take their own photos with Santa on a fully decorated staircase. They can also participate in the Great Elf Hunt, which is happening from December 1 to 25 during museum hours. Elves will be set up in interesting locations, causing mischief throughout the museum. Visitors are encouraged to search for them and can win prizes for finding them all. The elves will change locations on Mondays, so museum visitors are welcome to join the search multiple times.
Frosty Fest is free to attend and does not require registration. It also includes free admission to the museum. Museum parking is located behind the building, and extra street parking is also available. The Castle Museum focuses on Saginaw County’s history from multiple time periods, featuring archeological displays, information about early fur traders, and a model logging camp from Saginaw’s years as a lumber site. There is also currently a temporary exhibit highlighting the history of Saginaw’s courthouses. Museums often use brochure printing services to provide information about their exhibits.
Frosty Fest will take place on Saturday, December 6 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at The Castle Museum of Saginaw County History. The Great Elf Hunt will run from December 1 to 25.
