Saginaw nonprofit plans annual fundraiser

Positive Results Downtown Saginaw (PRIDE) is hosting its We LOVE Saginaw Annual Fundraiser this September.

The event will include drinks, dinner and dancing. Attendees can also enter raffles, take pictures in a photo booth, bid on silent auction items, test their knowledge of Saginaw trivia and paint a section of a community mural project. The organization hopes to provide a fun atmosphere for attendees to enjoy while supporting their community.

Tickets are available online now. The cost is $75 per person, or $500 per table of eight. Attendees can also make an optional contribution to cover the payment processor’s operating costs. Those with questions can contact Ann Marie Batkoski-Sullivan at PRIDE for additional information. Local nonprofits often use poster printing services to promote their major events.

Proceeds from the event will support Positive Results Downtown Saginaw’s work. The nonprofit organization supports Saginaw’s downtown area by encouraging new businesses to open, making the downtown area more beautiful, supporting existing businesses, and contributing to events that draw people and businesses downtown. It is an all-volunteer group, and the annual fundraiser is one of its major funding sources along with donations from individuals and business groups.

The We LOVE Saginaw Annual Fundraiser will be on Friday, September 18, from 6 pm to 10 pm, at the Jolt Celebration Club in the Dow Event Center.
