The Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce is presenting its annual Chairman’s Ball this February.
The ball honors the winner of the Corporate Community Service Award. It will begin with a cocktail reception with an open bar. The award ceremony will take place at 7:00 pm, followed by dinner at 7:45 pm. At 9:00 pm, there will be live music and dancing, and the bar will be open for the rest of the night.
Saginaw Spirit, the local major junior ice hockey team, is the Corporate Community Service Award recipient. This award recognizes a business that has improved the quality of life in Saginaw County in some way, such as running an employee volunteer program or donating to causes directly.
Tickets are available on the Chamber’s website through February 20. The cost is $200 per person for both members and guests, or $1,600 for a full table of eight. After February 20, anyone interested in attending can email the Chamber to see if space is still available. The dress code for the ball is black tie optional. Men should wear tuxedos or dark suits, and women should sport floor-length gowns or equivalent formal attire. Organizers often work with Stationery printers to create programs for this type of event.
The Chairman’s Ball will take place on Saturday, February 28, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw.
