Career education nonprofit to present awards in Saginaw

Junior Achievement of North Central Michigan is hosting its annual Hall of Fame dinner celebration in Saginaw this May.

The dinner will celebrate regional business leaders who contribute to economic growth and inspire young people. This year’s honorees will be Tri-Star Trust Vice President Rob Clark, Rehmann CEO Stacie Kwaiser, Saginaw Spirit Vice President of Sales Kate Pankow and Yeo & Yeo President and CEO Dave Youngstrom. Talia Brown of Freeland SportsZone is also receiving the Volunteer of the Year award.

Registration is open until April 27, and tickets are $125 per person. Sponsorship packages ranging from $300 to $2000 are also available. All sponsorships include event tickets, a listing in the event program and other recognition during the dinner. Organizers often use printing services to create sponsor Signs for this type of event. Sponsorship payments also include a donation to Junior Achievement.

Junior Achievement works to help young people develop the skills they need to succeed in the modern economy. The North Central Michigan chapter runs classroom programs in 18 different counties. These are available for students in elementary, middle and high schools and focus on entrepreneurship, work skills and financial literacy. All classes are taught by volunteers.

The Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Dinner will be on Thursday, May 7, from 5 pm to 9 pm, at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw.
