College fundraiser to take place in Saginaw

Delta College is having a chocolate-centered fundraising event in Saginaw this November.

A Chocolate Affair will include live music and a selection of dinner dishes, drinks and desserts. Jedi Mind Trip will be the music performers. The event will open to patron ticket-holders at 6:00 pm. Patrons will be served premium dinner options like steak and bacon-wrapped scallops, and a chocolate martini bar will be open. Admission opens at 7:00 pm, and dessert will be served at 8:00 pm.

Patron tickets are $135 per person, with general admission tickets priced at $75. Sponsorship packages, which include two tickets, are available for $500 for patrons and $250 for general admission. Sponsor names will be displayed scrolling on a screen during the evening. Sponsors need to submit the names they would like displayed by November 2.

Proceeds will support Delta College’s Possible Dream program, which is designed to help low-income young people prepare for college. Students can participate in free academic and cultural activities during their middle and high school years. Participants can qualify for scholarships, and many go to Delta College after graduating high school. Colleges often use brochure printing services to share information about their special programs.

A Chocolate Affair will be on Thursday, November 5, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm, at Horizons Conference Center, Saginaw.
