Several thousand expected to attend Crofton festival
Vendors, crafters and food trucks will gather on the golf course as the Crofton Chamber of Commerce presents its 2024 Fall Festival on the Green.
Mobile merchants who participate in events such as this often use local print shops to provide banner printing to attract buyers and boost product sales.
The Crofton festival offers business exposure for vendors and event sponsors, as it is always well attended. Held twice annually in the spring and fall, it has previously attracted as many as 4,000 people.
Around 100 regular and premium vendor spots are made available, as well as 42 spaces for food trucks. Chamber of commerce members are given priority and, along with non-profit organizations, are provided reduced registration fees.
Participating crafters will include those who produce made-at-home items such as jewelry, woodwork, and art. Other festival vendors may include direct sales companies such as Pampered Chief and Scentsy, and service-related businesses (including contractors and realtors), and merchants selling clothing and accessories, packaged craft foods, and items specific to the region and state.
In addition to food and merchandise vendors, there will be musical entertainment as well as family activities, including an area featuring outdoor inflatable children's bouncers.
The Festival on the Green will be held on Saturday, September 21, at the Crofton Country Club, 1691 Crofton Parkway, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. It will take place rain or shine.
