For the third year, the Chapman Farm Home Owners Association in Crofton will host a St. Patrick’s Day run and walk event.
The community race is designed for all ages and abilities with runners completing two loops, or close to 5K, around the neighborhood and walkers doing half the distance. There is also an opportunity to participate virtually for those who cannot attend but want to run their own race.
The celebration of health and community spirit will include more than just the morning run. Participants are invited to gather for an after-race presentation of prizes and a potluck meal.
All finishers will be presented with a medal and will receive swag Bags. Age group prizes will be awarded to top male and female finishers. A custom Chapman Farm cup will be given to the first 200 entrants.
There will also be numerous raffle prizes drawn with items to include gift cards and area sporting event tickets.
Many of the prizes and giveaways are made possible because of area sponsors. Businesses who donate to events such as this often obtain Promotional Products for their giveaways.
The Chapman Farm St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run and Walk will be held Sunday, March 14 at 10:30 am, rain or shine, at the farm clubhouse in Crofton. Registration and further information is available on the race website.
