Crofton will glow with the warmth of the holidays when residents and businesses light-up the city next month.
Light Up Crofton is presented by Boy Scouts of America Troop 758 as a fundraiser for the local youth organization. Groups that get involved in community activities such as this often rely on poster printing to advertise their event.
The scouts will have luminary kits and candles available for sale for $15. Each package will include the supplies needed for 10 luminaries. Participants will receive white Bags, sand, and small candles, along with instructions on assembling the lights. Multiple kits can be purchased with savings for bulk purchases, and the scouts will deliver them to individual homes. Donations may also be made to the scouts to pay for additional luminaries to be placed in public locations. Residents can preorder kits at the Crofton Farmers market in the weeks leading up to the event, including Saturday, December 6 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Crofton Library. Kits are also available to order online.
On the evening of the light-up, families will gather in front of their homes to light up their community.
The sixth annual Light Up Crofton will take place on Sunday, December 14 at 5:30 pm along the city streets and neighborhoods. Further information on the event is available on the Crofton community website.Get a Free Quote for Bags
