Chamber members and guests can make lasting connections by having their Business Cards available at an upcoming event.
The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce will present the Off the Clock Mixer next month in Gambrills just north of Crofton.
Entrepreneurs, civic and community business leaders will gather with the opportunity to mingle and connect in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
The chamber was created in 1989 when there were just 13 members but has grown over the years to almost 300. The organization hosts annual special events, regular networking opportunities, ribbon cutting events and open houses in support of its members.
The upcoming evening social will also provide attendees with a chance to give back to the community as the chamber has joined with one of its non-profit members in a drive for charitable contributions.
Donations will be accepted in support of the Blue Ribbon Project. The organization’s mission is to protect children from all types of abuse and exploitation and provide support and care for families and survivors of abuse. The Blue Ribbon Project serves children in foster care throughout the state of Maryland.
The Crofton Chamber of Commerce's Off the Clock Mixer will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Pherm Brewing Company, 1041 Maryland Rt. 3, in Gambrills, near Crofton. Tickets to the upcoming mixer are free for members and $15 for guests.
