Personal and professional growth will be the topics of a special Crofton workshop for women.
The Power of You: Building Wellness and Leadership for the New Year will be presented by the Crofton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Professional Network (WPN).
The educational session will take a close look at the strengths of participants, their leadership attributes and how these traits can be used to their advantage. Learning more about themselves is intended to provide attendees with opportunities for self-development and confidence in being a leader.
The second facet of the seminar will be the recognition of personal challenges and how to adapt to overcome them in order to achieve growth in a particular environment. The third area of focus will be to take the learned information and develop a plan for success and wellness in 2025.
Author and expert in professional leadership strategies, Dr. Traci Eisenberg-Rayburn, will be the guest speaker. She will bring her doctorate in business and first-hand experience in the military to the session as a consultant and mentor. Participants will each receive a copy of her book Inside-Out Leadership: Transforming Your Life from the Core, in which she outlines her “Battle-Tested Leadership Methodology.”
The Crofton WPN will present the workshop on Thursday, January 30 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Walden Country Club in Crofton. Groups who facilitate events such as this often seek out printing services to provide materials for participant handouts.
