Yoga to raise money for childhood health
Yoga Reaches Out will be holding a special fundraising event in Malden later this month.
It will be a day of bringing together those who are interested in yoga and want to enjoy a day of exercise and empowerment. There will be three different session held during the day, led by 16 top instructors from the New England area and elsewhere. This will amount to five hours of yoga for the day with breaks in between the session. People can go at their own pace to make the day an enjoyable one.
Local print shops often assist in spreading the word about such events to draw attention to their fundraising efforts. Registration for the event is $25 for an individual; teams are encouraged to set a goal for their fundraising efforts.
Proceeds of the event will go to the Every Child Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital, where thousands of children from around the world and every state in the country go so they can be cured of childhood diseases. The funds are used for treatment, as well as the research of scientists to find solutions and breakthroughs, as well as to support families who need to remain in Boston with a place to stay, vouchers for meals, and other expenses not covered by insurance.
