Principal appointed at high school in Malden

Michael Sabin has been appointed as the next principal of Malden High School by Timothy Sippel, Superintendent of Schools. He is succeeding Christopher Mastrangelo, who has been in the position for the last nine years.

Such appointments typically require the need for business card printing services.

Sabin has over 25 years of experience in the field of public education. After earning an undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1990 he returned to the university to earn a master’s degree in school administration. His administrative experience is in the communities of Waltham as principal at the John W. McDevitt Middle School in Waltham, and at the Edwards Middle School in Charlestown, with additional teaching experience in Cambridge, Boston, and Lawrence, among others Since 2022, he has served the Boston Public Schools as the Executive Director of School Transformation.

Sippel said that Sabin collaborates with school leadership teams and principals to raise achievement, having done so in some of the most complex high schools in Boston. He added that Sippel brings many years of experience as a leader in urban schools and will be an asset to Malden as the district works to do the best they can for all its students.

Sabin expressed his excitement about joining the team at Malden High School. His new role will begin on Wednesday July 1.
