There are two special events coming to Memorial Hall in Plymouth next month that residents of Fall River will not want to miss.
Events such as this one are often promoted throughout an area with poster printing.
The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra will be giving a demonstration of their instruments before their concert on a Sunday afternoon. Both children and adults who are children at heart will be able to test-drive many instruments and learn more about them. The concert itself will feature an award-winning emerging artist from South Shore Conservatory, performances by the Plymouth Children’s Chorus, and, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Plymouth, Leroy Anderson’s Governor Bradford March, and music from Antonín Dvořák’s New World Symphony.
The concert will be on Sunday, March 8 with doors opening at 2:15 pm followed by the concert at 3:00 pm.
Memorial Hall will have the party atmosphere of a Dublin pub as the Irish Comedy Tour takes the stage. The comedic group, all members of which hail from the Emerald Isle, includes Mike McCarthy from Boston; Derek Richards from Detroit; Damon Leibert from Nova Scotia; and Derrick Keene from a suburb of Dublin. Richards is known for entertaining the audience with his tales about the holidays and his mother’s dog.
This show will be on Friday, March 13 at 8:00 p.m.
