Holiday performances come to the Fall River area

The Nields, a popular duo playing folk and pop music, will be presenting their Music in the Gallery Seasonal Christmas Concert next month at the Wamsutta Club in New Bedford. Resident of Fall River will want to attend this special concert.

Sisters Katryna and Nerissa Nields will be performing a combination of seasonal and Christmas songs, many of which are traditional and some of which they wrote themselves. The concert will take place on Friday December 6 at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Print shops can be hired to create materials to distribute throughout the area to inform the community of such performances.

Bristol Community College in Fall River will be hosting a performance of The Nutcracker from Spindle City Ballet later in the month. Attendees will be able to enjoy the dancing snowflakes, the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, and the graceful movements of the Snow Queen and Nutcracker Prince as they tell the holiday story of Clara and her adventures with Toy Soldiers, Giant Mice, and The Land of Snow she encounters one evening during the holiday season.

The Spindle City Ballet has a mission to develop dancers through the opportunity to perform professionally and to offer high quality presentations and performances to help the community understand and increase its enjoyment of dance.

The performance will take place on Saturday December 21 at 2:00 p.m. Ticket prices range from $18 to $35.
