Bristol County Savings Bank will be sponsoring the Christmas in Fall River Concert, presented by the city of Fall River, for the fifth year.
The concert will be held at the Nagle Auditorium at the B.M.C. Durfee High School. Featured at the concert will be the Sons of Serendip, with additional performances by the B.M. C. Durfee Chorus and The Khourys. The Sons of Serendip were finalists in America’s Got Talent and have four albums which have captivated audiences.
The price of tickets is $10 each and can be purchased at the Mayor’s Office. Proceeds of ticket sales will go to the Community Christmas Toy Drive, which is an initiative of the mayor, Law Enforcement Assisting Families, and the city.
Such concerts and their charitable efforts are often promoted throughout the community with flyer printing.
Mayor Paul Coogan said that this concert enables the community to come together to celebrate the holiday and is enjoyed by everyone in the community. President and CEO of Bristol County Savings Bank, Patrick Murray, expressed his pride that the bank is once again partnering with the city of Fall River and the mayor to bring this concert to the community. He added that a great cause will benefit from the concert which is certain to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday December 22.
