A location of Raising Cane’s will be coming to the South End of Fall River.
It will be on William S. Canning Boulevard which is on the corner of Newton Street. This is a busy intersection and was most recently the home of Family Foods Grocery Outlet. It is also across the street from Chick-fil-A, another fast food chain famous for its chicken, which opened in July 2022.
The property development manager for the Northeast region of Raising Cane’s, Melissa Brotschul, said there will be only five items on the menu—chicken fingers, coleslaw, crinkle cut fries, buttered bread, and their Cane sauce. She added that there will be both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive-thru with two people working at a time taking orders.
Raising Cane’s will be open seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. for both interior dining and the drive-thru window. Outdoor dining will close at 1:00 a.m. Brotschul said that these extended hours are to accommodate first responders and those who work the third shift and may need a meal or snack at a late hour,
