Orland Park in a fine mess this summer

An event that will see participants getting down and dirty has been planned for Orland Park, and everyone 12 or over is welcome to come and join in a day of foam-filled fun.

Pandemonium in the Park will be back for another year, and its organizers noted that it will be bigger and better than ever. People can participate on their own or as part of a larger team, and they will be overcoming an assortment of obstacles as they run along the race’s course. Mud, foam, water and more will be encountered along the way, and each person who is able to meet the challenge and complete their run will receive a specially designed finisher’s medal and shirt. Free slices of Beggars’ pizza will also be available to feed the hungry crowd.

The course for this five-kilometer run or walk will take the participants through Centennial Park West, and everyone over 12 is invited to lace up their runners and participate. Banners, race bibs, business Forms and more can be produced by an area printer to help make sure the day is a big hit for all those who take part.

This event has been scheduled to take place on August 12, and anyone who would like to sign up to be involved in the day can do so on the community’s website.
