An annual event is highlighting great food from local restaurants, which is taking place in early August.
Taste of Orland Park is a three day festival full of fun. Northwestern Medicine is sponsoring the event. Restaurants will be offering a variety of cuisine and dishes for a small price point. Some will also have alcohol available to those 21 and over. Some of the items currently on the expected menu are pizza, ice cream, egg rolls, smoothies, cakes, tacos, quesadillas, burgers, and pierogies.
Each day, several bands/singers will be performing on the event’s stage. The music offered covers a variety of genres, giving everyone something to enjoy. Included in the stage programming is also a tribute honoring military veterans on the second day. A schedule of these performances, as well as information on the event in general, is available on the city’s website.
Kids can also enjoy specialized activities like face painting, inflatable play structures, and balloon art from skilled makers.
Local groups/businesses will also be present with information booths for guests to visit and learn about their missions/services. Some may also choose to have Promotional Products for visitors to take home as a way to advertise. Attending is free, but parking is $10. The hours are 5:00pm - 11:00pm on August 2nd, 3:00pm - 11:00pm on August 3rd, and 3:00pm - 9:00pm on August 4th. The venue is Centennial Park West.
