A legendary artist will be returning to the stage with her first tour in four years, and a show in late May is sure to be a blast for residents of Orland Park.
Janet Jackson’s career beginning in 1973. Though never one of the Jackson 5, she was the 10th of the Jackson children who included her brothers Michael and Jermaine, and has become one of the most highly decorated performers in her own right. Some of the songs she has recorded over the years are “Rhythm Nation,” “Nasty,” “All For You,” “I Get Lonely,” and “What Have You Done For Me Lately?”
The Together Again Tour will be visiting nearby Tinley Park and its venue the Hollywood Casino Apmhitheatre. Tickets can be found both on Live Nation and Ticket Squeeze. Regular tickets go for between $48 and $2,550. VIP options all share a few items, such as seats being reserved no further back than the lower bowl, merchandise featuring the Logo Design of the show, and an additional gift bag of merch items. The Meet & Greet offer also has a photo and meeting opportunity with Jackson. The prices of these are between $1,100 and $4,538 at the time of writing.
Ludacris will serve as Jackson’s supporting act at the concert, which will highlight the albums “The Velvet Rope” and “Janet.” The event is set to begin at 8:00 pm on May 27.
