An event is coming up that will help Oak Park residents remain healthy.
The 6th Annual community Health & Wellness Fair has been rescheduled, and is on the calendar again. The Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce organizes the fair, which is presented by Rush Oak Park Hospital. The purpose is to make sure residents of the community understand the range of services available to them.
During the event, attendees will be able to learn about their services from more than 100 exhibitors from the area, who work in the health and wellness field. They will be able to take advantage of a number of complimentary screenings, including blood pressure, and family activities are planned. There are also giveaways on the schedule, including tote Bags for everyone as long as the supply lasts, along with healthy snacks, and fitness classes, and the entire day is free of charge. Games will be available to play onsite, giving visitors a chance to win Gift Certificates from vendors.
