The Illinois Brewery Running Series will be holding a race at One Lake Brewing in Oak Park.
The Illinois Brewery Running Series is an athletic activity for fans of craft brews. During the race, participants will be treated to a complimentary beverage from One Lake Brewing and will receive either a collector’s pint glass or swag item. Attendees also have a chance to win door prizes like a take-home growler or merch from the running series.
The activity is intended for those of all athletic skill levels, and walkers and joggers will be welcome to attend the event. The running series is untimed and will be held on an open course throughout the neighborhood. Participants will start and finish their journeys at One Lake Brewing. Those who take part in the event must abide by local COVID-19 guidelines, such as wearing a mask and staying socially distanced from the other racers.
The Beer Run will be held on Sunday, September 18 from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The cost to take part in the brewery’s event is $35 per person, though people can pay $50 to register for the run and receive a T-shirt. Those who volunteer at the run will get a free beer and T-shirt. Organizations that hold events like this may add a Logo Design to their volunteer’s Apparel to distinguish them from other eventgoers.
