Oak Park winery to serve themed dinner

Those in Oak Park can attend a movie-themed dinner and wine tasting in February at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant.

The Silver Screen Soiree is a themed dining experience where members of the venue's wine club can eat dishes inspired by iconic films, such as Bridget Jones's Diary, Gold Rush 1925, and Julie Julia. Each course will be paired with wine from the venue. The menu includes dishes like Beef Bourguignon Ala Julia Child and Waldorf Custard Pudding. Those who attend the dinner are expected to dress as one of their favorite movie stars.

The Wine Club at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant is a program where participants can receive one, two, or three bottles of wine per month from the business. Members may choose a specific club based on their wine preferences, like Sweet, Red, and Variety. Those in the program receive benefits such as discounts on carryout orders and monthly wine-tasting sessions for two at the venue. The cost to join the club begins at $21.99 per month.

The themed dinner will be on Wednesday, February 22 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets to the tasting experience can be bought for $69 per person. All tickets must be purchased 48 hours before the event, and guests will be seated with other parties during the dinner. Wineries that offer activities like this may promote their dining events with flyer printing services.
