The Oak Park Conservatory will be offering families a fun seasonal activity in September at Rehm Park.
Fall Fest is a family-friendly experience where guests can partake in several activities alongside other members of the community. The festival includes rides on the park’s train, inflatables, and music provided by a DJ. The conservatory will hold many crafting and nature-themed activities for children and will also have a pumpkin patch. People can purchase food from the vendors who set up booths at Rehm Park.
The Oak Park Conservatory is one of the city’s top historical sites to visit and attracts more than 50,000 guests each year. There are three showrooms visitors may explore in the conservatory, including a Mediterranean Room and Desert Room. Admission to the attraction is free, though the organization suggests leaving a $5 donation during the visit. A few of the events organized by the conservatory include the Plant and Tool Exchange, Fright at Night, and What’s in Your Garden?.
The fall-themed gathering will take place on Sunday, September 25 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The festival is free for the community to enjoy, though donations of $5 are recommended. No registration is needed for people to go to the fall festival. Organizations that promote local activities such as this may use poster printing to increase the fest’s visibility.
