A fundraiser side-lined last year is back in Oak Park again.
The Oak Park Micro Brew Review 2021 is returning with more than 40 brewers who will be offering over 80 brews. The Review is a zero-waste event, meaning nothing goes from the event to a landfill, where attendees will enjoy tasty bites, brews, and live music, all while supporting a good cause, Seven Generations Ahead (SGA). This is the largest fundraiser SGA does during the year, and it uses the money raised to support its work.
Although the list of brewers is complete, restaurants and bands are still being added. One of the perks of this festival is that beer lovers will be able to chat with the brewers as they sample their beers. The breweries attending include 93 Octane Brewery, Around the Bend, Exit Strategy Brewing Company, Lake Effect Brewing Company, Miskatonic Brewing Company, Pig Minds Brewing Co., Twisted Hippo, and more. Organizers of this type of event can use flyer printing to create handouts for visitors.
The event is scheduled for August 21, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, on Marion Street. Tickets are $50 if purchased in advance, and $60 if bought on the day of the event, and include as many as 40 samples, access to music and food, and a souvenir glass. Organizers will be following the health protocols in place at the time.
