An annual sale is on the way to Oak Park, and shoppers will be able to find outstanding bargains.
For the third year, the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Annual Retail Warehouse Sale, which will be held at The Arts Center of Oak Park. At that time, top retailers from throughout the area will be selling stock remaining from the end of the season to make room for new items, and shoppers will be able to take advantage of deals.
Those who are interested can pre-shop the evening before the main event by purchasing tickets in advance. There are only 150 tickets available and they will sell out quickly. Those who would rather attend without paying will be able to do so on the following day.
Among the vendors who took part in the 2019 sale are Sanem's, 16 Suitcases, Ten Thousand Villages, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust.
The pre-shopping hours are 7:30 until 9.00 pm on February 21, and the general public will be admitted free on February 22, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Those who buy tickets for the pre-shop will be able to return the following day without waiting in line, plus the first 150 ticket buyers will receive a free tote bag. Admission is free for same-day shoppers, but registration is required. Tickets and registration information is available online.
