Local organization to hold its traditional celebration
The local Chamber of Commerce is inviting the Arlington Heights community to its 69th Annual Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce Installation and Award Celebration.
The theme this year will be the Great Gatsby’s Roaring ‘20s, so 1920s formal attire is encouraged. However, black tie is optional and business attire will also be acceptable.
There will be libations and games, along with raffles. The musical entertainment portion of the evening will be presented by a local Big Band, so there will be plenty of opportunity for dancing. Awards will be presented for Business of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Non-profit Organization of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year.
A retrospect of the successes of last year’s Board of Directors with President Amy Philpott, and the installation of the new 2016 Board of Directors including the new Chairman of the Board Colin Gilbert, will also be on the agenda. The evening will also be the major 2016 fundraiser for the Commerce’s programs.
This will be an opportunity for local business representatives to network so everyone will want to remember to bring their digital business cards, or at least get some business card printing done soon.
