Arlington Heights bird nerds will soon be “flocking” to a local venue for a parrot-themed party that its host hopes will have the whole town talking.
The annual Parrot Stars Summer Festival will be packed with all things parrot, and while it will offer lots of fun, it also has a more serious side. It will explore how important it is to give proper care to these birds, and all ages are on the guest list.
Some of the highlights of the weekend include meet and greet sessions with the venue’s parrots and other birds, and there will also be guest speakers discussing an assortment of topics related to their care. There will be opportunities to access special pricing on a variety of products, and prize draws, promotional product giveaways and fun just for the kids are also in the works. The festivities will run for three days.
Festivals, trade shows and other large events give those interested in a particular topic an opportunity to enjoy a deep dive experience. Vendors and others that set up a booth, table or other display will be able to order promotional Pens, Brochures and decor for their entry from a local banner printing company.
