Arlington Heights brings boon for book lovers
Arlington Heights readers who would like to stock up on books for the upcoming winter season may want to save the date for a local sale that will help them fill their shelves.
The Friends of Arlington Heights Memorial Library has organized its annual used book sale. It will be running for three days, and the first evening will be reserved for members only.
The sale will be divided into two sections, with children’s titles being on offer in the venue’s Cardinal Room, while the adults can browse in the Hendrickson Room. Non-fiction and fiction titles as well as CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, vinyl records, games, puzzles, and more will all be in the mix. Auction and buy-now items will be on display on the venue’s second floor, and donations to the sale will be welcome.
Book sales and other fundraisers are often quite popular, and a poster printing company will be able to help them attract even more attention. They can prepare marketing material that can encourage more locals to attend.
The Friends of the Arlington Heights Memorial Library’s Fall Book Sale will open with a Members Night on November 7. It will continue on through November 8 and 9, at 500 N Dunton Avenue, and further details, including how to make a donation, can be found on its Patch listing.
