Arlington Heights eatery offers aprs ski experience

There's something special about gathering around the fire at a ski chalet, and an Arlington Heights activity will offer a taste of this experience.

Scratchboard Kitchen has created its own take on the après ski experience, and it will offer a taste of relaxing in a winter lodge. This unique dining experience is running throughout much of the ski season, and a special menu is on offer for the occasion.

The venue has been transformed into a ski lodge style space, complete with its own "ski lift” and chalet decor. The eatery's Chef Grace has organized a winter menu that includes dishes such as truffle mac and cheese, French onion soup, and grilled cheese. The guests can choose from the list of winter-themed cocktails, and the sweet tooths in the crowd can enjoy the peppermint sundaes and homemade s'mores that will round out the experience.

When organizing a themed event, planners often turn to local banner printing companies for assistance. They can offer a wide assortment of choices, including reusable, pop up style decor that may be used over and over.

The crew at Scratchboard Kitchen , which can be found at 5 W. Campbell Street, is running its après ski style experience from November 28th until February 12th. Reservations are highly recommended, and more information from anyone interested is available on the Chicago Northwest website.
