Arlington Heights is set to welcome some fun on four wheels later this month.
The Arlington Heights Senior Center will soon see a classic car show roll in for one day. It will be held in the morning, and while admission will be free, a small fee is being charged to register a car, truck, or other entry.
Visitors can view all the classics on display, and they will also be able to meet their owners and learn more about their pride and joy. There will be peer voting to determine the prize winners, and live entertainment will have everyone swaying to the beat. Food may be purchased from one of the mobile eateries invited to take part, and several local businesses have stepped forward to provide financial support to the celebration.
The organizers are putting together a list of vendors for the function, and the fee to reserve a sales display space is $250. Table and booth drapes, bunting, pop-up Banners, and other decor may help a participating vendor gain attention during a large event, and all of these can be prepared by a banner printing company.
The 2026 Arlington Heights Senior Center Car Show will be held at 1801 Central Road on Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The final date to reserve a space is next Wednesday, August 12.
