Arlington Heights market salutes its pint-sized patrons

Adults might know that the Arlington Heights Farmers Market is the place to be when it comes to buying fresh produce and other locally grown food and other goods, but now a younger crowd can get involved too.

The Market’s Kids Day will have fun both on stage and inside the market itself, and much of this will take place during the morning hours. Along with what has been planned for the kids, there will be options for adults.

A face painter will be on site from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A scavenger hunt and yoga sessions have been organized, and the Paint a Plow activity is on the agenda. There will be live theatrical and music entertainment on the venue’s even stages, and the Little Sprouts Corner will have an art project where kids can make a recycled necklace and take it home with them.

Along with the rest of the fun, shoppers can reserve their tickets for the Arlington Heights Garden Cub Garden Walk fundraiser and try their luck in the balloon pop fundraiser. A poster printing company will be happy to prepare weather-resistant signage to use during outdoors activities like this.

The Arlington Heights Farmers Market Kids Day will offer family friendly fun on Saturday, June 20. It will be set up at 110 W Fremont Street.
