An activity that will help Arlington Heights put an extra spring in its step this season is seeking community participation, and families and groups alike are encouraged to join in the fun.
The city’s Spring Window Painting will be back, and it will take place in early May for what will be its fifth year.
The campaign will see at least 25 businesses take part and there will be at least 60 storefront windows to be decorated. The design should have a spring theme such as cheerful flowers, birds, flowers, trees, and insects. They may also choose to include eco-friendly messaging that encourages the public to find ways to be kind to Mother Nature in their own lives. Applications can be made through the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce, and the final date to do so is Saturday, April 18. Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Further information will be distributed via email.
Hands-on activities may help to build a strong community, and a company that offers in-house graphic design will be happy to lend a hand. They can prepare logos and other branding that may be helpful in building the buzz.
Arlington Heights will be getting a bit more beautiful thanks to its Spring Window Painting project set for Saturday, May 2. The painters will work at their designated locations from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
