What's Happening in Arlington Heights, IL…

Arlington Heights plans family fall fun

An Arlington Heights venue will soon be the place to be for family friendly fall fun, and much of what’s in store for the celebration will be free of charge.

North School Park will soon be welcoming the Autumn Harvest festival that’s being organized by the Arlington Heights Park District and the Special Events Commission. All ages are welcome, and it will run for three hours.

When they arrive at the park, members of the public can enjoy making some free crafts at one of the crafting stations, and there will also be a petting zoo filled with furry and feathery friends to meet. Live music will add a festive flair, and parents can count on there being a wide assortment of fun photo ops. Everyone can show off their creative side in the scarecrow decorating contest, and prizes will be presented. Anyone who would like a bite to eat can purchase one on site, and the function will go ahead, rain or shine.

The crisp days of fall can be well suited to outdoor activities, and many communities choose to host autumn-themed festivals. A printer can provide a range of options for promotional products for a special event, and they may be themed to suit the overall occasion.

Arlington Heights is set to celebrate with its Autumn Harvest festival on October 11th. The fun will open at 11:00 am.
