Drupa 2012 took place earlier this month and drew over 300,000 printing and graphics media professionals from 130 countries. It is by far the industry’s largest and most important conference. The interests of those professionals who attend Drupa include printing automation, the printing of Packaging, hybrid technologies, and green printing. Drupa is constantly delivering, as is shown in the example of Komori America rolling out their new presses. The printing and graphics industries are frequently changing and improving, so it will be interesting to see how things have changed in the printing industry when the next Drupa takes place in 2016.
No doubt printing companies in Rolling Meadows, where Komori America is based, are excited about these new machines and will be eager to try them out. Because of their location, they will probably have an easier time in getting the opportunity to view a test model.
Komori America’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, Jacki Hudman, believes that these new machines are "game changing" and are what its clients have been asking for. Hudman said:
“Quite frankly, the quality of our inkjet output was far superior to any other sheets shown at Drupa.”Get a Free Quote for Packaging
