Fundraiser to help keep arts accessible to all
The 15th annual Metropolis Gala is set to take place in Arlington Heights this April, and is a major fundraising event for the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre.
Guests will be treated to a four-course dinner and can enjoy an open bar. There will also be silent and live auctions during the evening.
The auctions will feature Chicago sports memorabilia signed by such stars as Walter Payton and Michael Jordan. The gala will give people in the community the opportunity to meet their neighbors and business peers who are as interested in preserving and sharing the arts as they are.
Funds raised at this event will go to support the theatrical and educational arts. The Metropolis Performing Arts Centre also runs the School of the Performing Arts which provides programs for children and adults, like workshops and summer camps. They will also ensure the Centre can continue to offer such productions as ‘An Evening with C.S. Lewis’, which opens this month.
Arlington Heights stationery printers may be asked to provide flyers for advertising or tickets for various upcoming events.
