Family fundraiser promises magic
The Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization (NSSEO) Foundation, Inc. is holding its 4th annual Fall Family Magic Show and Raffle in Arlington Heights this October. Funds go to support NSSEO programs and services at the Miner School.
The organization provides a therapeutic day school program for those with special needs between the ages of 5 and 22. This includes extracurricular activities and social integration, plus staff such as therapists, psychologists, and social workers.
Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in costume, and those who do will receive one free raffle ticket, which will be on sale for $5 each or $10 for three. Prizes to be won in the raffle include a television, an iPad, and an adult tricycle. The magic will be provided by magician the Great James Sanden.
This fundraiser will provide much needed services and organizers will likely advertise it widely in the Arlington Heights area, especially since the general public is welcome to attend. This may include investing in flyer printing services from local stationery printers to get the word out about the goings-on.
The Fall Family Magic Show and Raffle will be held at the Miner School on October 25 beginning at 1:00 pm. Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for children. To find out more about the event, or about the NSSEO, call Marcia at 847-463-8105.
