What's Happening in Arlington Heights, IL…

Fairs and harvests point the way to fall

Arlington Heights is going to be the location for a duo of upcoming fairs this October.

First up, the Vintage Fair has been given a Saturday date. Hosted by Lucky Junk and the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, there are set to be a number of antiques, handmade items, and art pieces for sale. Visitors can enjoy some live entertainment, craft demonstrations, and a food truck. In addition, they can visit the Farmers' Market across the street from the fair to carry out some extra shopping.

The weekend after that will see the Autumn Harvest festival take place, presented by Arlington Heights Special Events Commission. This is expected to feature a range of of family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo, hayrides, crafts, and a scarecrow-making contest. There will be live music, face painting, and stories. Food vendors will also be on hand during the day too.

Some of the vendors participating in either of these events may decide to invest in sign printing services from Arlington Heights companies.

The Vintage Fair will be held outdoors at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum on October 4 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Contact Lucky Junk at 847-440-6633 for more information.

Autumn Harvest will take place at North School Park just seven days later, October 11, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. To learn more, call 847-368-5104.
