Arlington Heights set for a busy weekend
Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to host its Mane Event and Taste of Arlington Heights.
The weekend will have live entertainment, a business expo, and plenty of food vendors. Entertainment for the first evening will be the Metropolis Rock Band, Pamela Rose and Windy City Country, and the Blooze Brothers.
Kids will get to enjoy a bounce house, coloring, crafts and games in other languages, face painting, and coloring pages. There will also be an obstacle course and a balloon twister. The Legoland Discovery Center will be open on the second day.
School of Rock Arlington Heights will kick off entertainment for the second evening, and the two hours that follow it will be Chicago’s Got Talent. The top 10 entrants will perform and the winner will be announced. Following that will be The Self Righteous Brothers and Exit 147. The final show will be Infinity.
More 70 local businesses will be represented at the businesses expo, so no doubt everyone will want to get their digital business cards updated.
The Mane event will be August 5 starting at 5:00 pm and going until 11:00 pm. Both events will be held in downtown Arlington Heights on the corner of Campbell and Vail. Taste of Arlington Heights will be August 6, from 12:00 noon until 11:00 pm.
