Arlington Heights pet owners attend expo
Local pet owners and enthusiasts will get the opportunity to attend the Chicagoland Family Pet Expo right here in town in March.
The event will offer pet-themed demonstrations, entertainment and presentations, along with an assortment of the latest merchandise, products, and services. Over 200 exhibits will have thousands of offerings, such as jewelry, clothing, artwork, leashes, bedding, furniture, and security measures like invisible fences. There will also be treats at booths such as Annie’s Pooch Pops and Yellow Dog Treats, as well as food, boarding, and training.
Pet health will be a big concern and relevant businesses will include Companion, Veterinary Specialty Center, Golf Rose Animal Services, Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, and Wheeling Animal Hospital and Pet Resort.
Animal rescue organizations such as Cavalier Rescue, German Shepherd Dog Rescue, Gypsy Cats, Magnificent Mutts & Meows Rescue, and Greyhound Only Adoption and Rescue will be on hand passing out business cards and flyers and showcasing their services and mission statements. Some may be bringing adoptable animals.
The Chicagoland Family Pet Expo will be at the Arlington International Racecourse, 2200 Euclid Avenue on March 20 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm, March 21 from 9:00 pm until 6:00 pm, and March 22 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Adult tickets will be $10 and kids’ passes (for ages 3 to 12) will be $5. Guests may not bring their pets.
